Chocolate cake in Cyprus

Wacky Cake γνωστό και ως Τρελό Σοκολατένιο Κέικ Ένα πανεύκολο, οικονομικό, super γρήγορο, χωρίς ακαταστασίες Κέικ αφού το ετοιμάζουμε στο ίδιο πυρέξ στο οποίο θα το ψήσουμε. ΥΛΙΚΑ: ▫️ 175 ml νερό ▫️ 150 ml φρέσκο χυμό πορτοκαλιού ▫️ 100 ml ελαιόλαδο ▫️ 240 γρ. ζάχαρη ▫️ 250 γρ. αλεύρι για όλες τις χρήσεις ▫️ 30 γρ. κακάο ▫️ 1/2 κ.γ. μαγειρική σόδα ▫️ 1/2 κ.γ. μπέικιν πάουντερ ▫️ 1 κ.γ. κανέλα ▫️ ξύσμα από 1 πορτοκάλι ΕΚΤΕΛΕΣΗ: 1. Προθερμαίνουμε τον φούρνο στους 170°C στον αέρα. 2. Σε ένα πυρέξ περίπου 25 x 35 εκ. αδειάζουμε όλα τα υγρά μαζί με τη ζάχαρη και ανακατεύουμε με ένα σύρμα μέχρι να λιώσει η ζάχαρη. 3. Κοσκινίζουμε όλες τις σκόνες μαζί (αλεύρι, κακάο, σόδα, μπέικιν πάουντερ, κανέλα), προσθέτουμε και το ξύσμα και ανακατεύουμε με ένα σύρμα ή με πιρούνι μέχρι να γίνει ένας ομοιογενής χυλός. 4. Ψήνουμε για περίπου 35 λεπτά. 5. Δοκιμάζουμε αν έχει ψηθεί τρυπώντας το κέντρο με μια οδοντογλυφίδα, θα πρέπει να βγει στεγνή και καθαρή. 6. Extraordinary food at a extraordinary hotel located at Platres in the Troodos mountains. @petitpalais_platres was entirely renovated just before covid happened. Its categorised as a boutique hotel and deserves that title. The food is beyond the standard menu you find in villages. They have an in-house pastry chef and I strongly advise to try the Portokalopitta, Tiramisu, Banoffee & Chocolate cake 🤣 Ok all of them!
