@artigianocy 👈🏻 One of the towns most instagrammable places 🌸🌺 just got the @cypruseats treatment it deserved. The brunch menu just got a upgrade for the season and knowing that @cpotsides had his fair share of involvement, then I had to visit. Now, recommendations? Located in Parissinos, Giraffe is perfect for something to grab and go, or take a seat for breakfast or brunch and it is open from 7am to 8pm Unlike other cafe’s, they have a dedicated chef preparing the most delicious brunch items. We got 2 savory and 2 sweet dishes and I'll probably get the same when I visit again * Eggs Benedict 🥚 * Croque Madame 🍳🍞 * French Toast 🇫🇷🍞 * Biscoff Pancakes 🍯🥞 The croque madam I actually ordered delivery via Wolt the previous day also andnwas so delicious it triggered me to visit and have it at the store. The brioche they use is top notch and its a dish I’ll highly recommend. Same goes for the french toast 🤤 The Biscoff Pancakes are made to order, and the pancake dough is one of the finest we had. With coffee from Amber & Joe, everything just makes this experience worth visiting. It's a cute little store inside but with plenty of seating outside and ample free parking all around the shop. Weekend starts #NOW with this classic French Toast recipe 👇🏻 I actually used panini bread cause fried gives it a donut type flavour & taste. • Thanks @world_food360 for the inspiration, recipe and calories 🙈 Ingredients • 6 thick slices bread of your choice (baguette 🥖sliced toast🍞) or even leftover tsoureki from Easter • 1/2 cup milk • 2 eggs • 3 teaspoons brown sugar • 1/3 teaspoon ground cinnamon • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract • 2 teaspoons butter • Pinch of salt to taste Method . . 1. Beat together eggs and brown sugar till dissolved. 2. Add milk, salt, cinnamon and vanilla. 3. Heat a lightly oiled pan over medium-high heat. 3. Dunk each slice of bread in egg mixture, soaking both sides. 4. Add a dash of oil and 1 tablespoon butter in pan and cook on both sides until golden brown. Each time you make a new set, add another teaspoon of butter 5. Serve hot with butter or maple syrup, mascarpone cheese, or any other fruit or topping of your choice. . . .
