One of the last restaurants I managed to visit before the latest covid measures & lockdown.
@proavlio_tavern has to be one of the most unique places to dine under the stars. Proavlio meaning Courtyard, got it's name cause its located infront on one of the oldest churches in Cyprus.
The tavern offers up scaled Cypriot meze food.
Featured photo is that of Ofto kleftiko! Its a must. Also had the awesome creamy Pastichio, alongside a generous mix grill dish of various meats. Had so many small side dish plates also, all unique in there own way.
Finally, the dessert, Portokalopitta with mastic ice-cream! 🤤 still drooling! Make sure you 👉🏻 to see it!
Can't wait to visit our beloved Limassol again and the awesome restaurants this town has to offer 😍

Nothing beats an outdoor taverna, and the fully renovated @esobgarestaurantcy is the towns hardest reservation to find this summer.
It was our second time here in 3 weeks. We tried the meze last time, but our curiosity peaked for some other dishes from the alacart menu.
Here’s a pro tip when getting sharing dishes, the bigger the group, the more you try, the less you pay!

Hidden in the small streets of old Kaimakli, Paparouna Meze is the perfect spot to enjoy delicious meze dishes all summer in their beautiful yard!
You can order the full meze set menu or make your own selection from the a la carte menu. We personally loved the orzo made with carob syrup, the egg-fried zucchini and afelia as well as the super tender chicken and pork souvlaki served beautifully on a platter of skewers along with the most delicious hand-cut fries!
The atmosphere was lovely and the whole restaurant was packed, so if you decide to go make sure to call in advance!
