If it looks this good delivered, then I can't wait to visit their restaurant once they reopen! My lemessiano "other half" of cypruseats was amazed by the food quality and most of all packaging from @pitotcy It's usually were most restaurants loose points because food arrives messy and cold. It really gave a sense of what to expect from visiting them in the future or simply ordering delivery from home in these difficult times. @mitbah.cy has recently opened it’s doors in the heart of Limassol, serving Israeli cuisine and we had the pleasure of trying some or their delicious dishes! ⬇️Description of each dish below: 1. Shakshuka Eggs 🍳 - a stew of boiled eggs with tomatoes, onions, garlic & peppers! - it was super and had a kick of spiciness which we loved! 2-3. Arais - Crispy pitta stuffed with ground beef & lamb, spices served with tomato saltsa & tahini - an explosion of flavours right from the first bite, the meat had a very rich taste and that super crispy pitta..... divine! 4. Fattoush salad 🥗 - well made with the right amount of lemon, exactly how we like it, very refresing! 5. Cauliflower Hummus - tasty but we would have preferred it to have a bit more spices on it. 6. Stuffed Grape Leaves - very light taste, easy to eat. 7. Classic Hummus - delicious however we would have preferred to be more lemony. 8. Rustic Eggplant 🍆 & Green Falafel 🧆 - the eggplant was tasty but like the cauliflower needed more spicies, the falafel were amazing, cruncy and fluffy, one of the best falafel that we’ve tried! 9. We had the pleasure of being invited at @cedars_lebanese restaurant and tried some of their delicious lebanese food and one of the best Kataifi we’ve ever had! Say hello to @aya.cooks.cy , the newest addition to the Limassol food scene! ✨ They’ve only been open a few weeks, and we finally got to visit - here’s what we tried: • Gallagher brioche bread with tahini & sjüg • Roasted beetroot salad • Hummus • Charred cauliflower with tahini, pomegranate, pistachios & dried roses • Za’atar Cyprus potatoes cooked two ways • Chicken skewer with harissa BBQ & za’atar • Hallah French toast with seasonal fruit & labneh cream We were told after our visit (classic 😅) that the Black Angus beef short rib is one of their best dishes - so that’s definitely on our list for next time!
