@mitbah.cy has recently opened it’s doors in the heart of Limassol, serving Israeli cuisine and we had the pleasure of trying some or their delicious dishes! ⬇️Description of each dish below: 1. Shakshuka Eggs 🍳 - a stew of boiled eggs with tomatoes, onions, garlic & peppers! - it was super and had a kick of spiciness which we loved! 2-3. Arais - Crispy pitta stuffed with ground beef & lamb, spices served with tomato saltsa & tahini - an explosion of flavours right from the first bite, the meat had a very rich taste and that super crispy pitta..... divine! 4. Fattoush salad 🥗 - well made with the right amount of lemon, exactly how we like it, very refresing! 5. Cauliflower Hummus - tasty but we would have preferred it to have a bit more spices on it. 6. Stuffed Grape Leaves - very light taste, easy to eat. 7. Classic Hummus - delicious however we would have preferred to be more lemony. 8. Rustic Eggplant 🍆 & Green Falafel 🧆 - the eggplant was tasty but like the cauliflower needed more spicies, the falafel were amazing, cruncy and fluffy, one of the best falafel that we’ve tried! 9. Golden Crispy Chicken Schnitzel - nice and crispy. 10. So had the pleasure to try @mitbah.cy last night and knew right from the fava bean hummus that it was gonna be great meal. First things first, loved the friendly service that immediately stood out, in Covid times, it nice to see people enjoying doing what they do with a positive attitude. Big + Mitbah is an 🇮🇱 Israeli restaurant, and after many positive feedback from other foodie friends of mine (@foodlogger.cy & @eatoutcyprus), found that the praise was all true. Food is not spicy, maybe the cauliflower had a bit of a kick, and was one of my favourite dishes. Another great dish was the Arais (crispy ground beef & lamb in spices & tachini) Cut a long story short, I didn't find a single dish that disappointed.
