Located within Limassol’s lavish @cityofdreamsmediterranean resort and Casino, Amber Dragon invites you to experience a Pan-Asian gastronomic fairytale. Inspired by the Michelin-starred Dragon family of restaurants in Macau, Amber Dragon is mystic, yet friendly and with modern vibes With backdrop the main Casino area, the restaurant is always busy with people coming and going. The main speciality is the Beijing duck. Cooked in a open-view wood fire oven, each duck takes 1 hr to cook with special wood and bbq flavours with no other frying methods needed. With every portion of you also get 2 duck side dishes as the whole duck is always used. You get a Wok-Fried Beijing Duck mixture to make your own lettuce wraps and also a Coriander Roasted Duck Broth with 2 Minced Duck Wontons for each person. The half duck including sides costs €52 Other menu items include a wide range of Dim Sum, Maki Rolls, Appetizers like the Golden Sesame Parcels, which were my favorite and of course various Sashimi & Nigiris. For main course we got the Wok fried Kung Pao Chicken for €20 which reminded me of authentic Chinese flavours I used to have as a teenager back in Australias finest Chinese owned restaurants. Also got the steamed Lobster, as you may have seen in my poll, only cost €62 for a whole lobster. My poll results showed people pricing it alot more than that. Amber Dragon has set the bar high for Chinese food restaurants in Cyprus. With totally unique dishes you won’t find anywhere else on the Island, it’s definitely worth trying and a great night out at the resort. If you’re feeling lucky, you can even go for a round of blackjack or try your luck at one of the video slots. As it was part of my birthday celebration, I was left fully satisfied with my special night and would definitely repeat on my next birthday. They have an online reservation system or call for availability cause it does get really busy. They do accept walk-ins if tables are free P.S.
