Now I wasn't expecting that! Well I was told @saltandfire_experience was good, but was totally caught by surprise.
Once you throught the first dish was the star of the show, then the second is even better. Half way through, was thinking, Ok, what's the steak gonna be like? And it was all that and so much more! 🥩
Started with the Burrata Salad, and from the first bite, we knew what we were in for.
Then came the beef tartare. I've never had it with egg yolk, and asked not to have it. The owner insisted to put it, so I tried it. Now I want it everytime!
So, what can top a beef tartere? Well the Foia Gras came and that basically did it for me. I was now confused which dish was better than the previous.
So now it was time for the 250gr Fillet and then the Ribeye. But along came 4 crispy jacket potatoes pieces. Was never a fan o jacket potatoes, but at this point, the waiter informed us we could have more when done. Of course more came! 🤤
Finally the steaks came, and it just melted in our mouths. Best steak I've had in (dry) ages!
Next time Ill check the chalkboard for a pick of their specialty cuts.
Finished off with a classic creme brulee
The ambiance of the restaurant and poolside seating was simply superb, and with great company, it couldn't go wrong.
