Just meters away from Finikoudes Beach in Larnaca you'll find @mysticloungebarrestaurant I just love it when I visit a place with no expectations just to be blown away from their menu and service. Mystic did just that! Everything we had, had a unique flavour and what hit us most was the quality of ingredients they use, it really shines throughout. From the bread to even the finest of details, everything was superb. What to recommend? Really I wouldn't know where to start, So I'll just say get something from the mene that's towards your personal preference, and I'm 99% sure you'll absolutely enjoy it! One final mention, you MUST try their smoothies as they are bursting with fresh fruits and so refreshing especially in this heat. One weekend, we visited this place in Politico: 📍 @filimon_gefseis It’s a family-owned business with butcher delicacies that’s been around for four generations. They produce their own cold cuts, and it was so special to see how much care they put into it. Saturdays and Sundays are the only days they open for brunch, so it’s a perfect weekend getaway if you’re looking for something a little different. Αμερικανικά Pancakes 🥞 Μια φανταστική συνταγή για να πετύχετε τα πιο τέλεια, αυθεντικά και αφράτα αμερικάνικα pancakes! ΥΛΙΚΑ: (3-4 pancakes) ▫️120 γρ. αλεύρι για λες τις χρήσεις θρίαμβος ▫️1 κ.σ ζάχαρη ▫️2 κ.γ μπέικιν πάουντερ ▫️μια πρέζα αλάτι ▫️160ml φρέσκο γάλα ▫️2 κ.σ βούτυρο ανάλατο, λιωμένο ▫️1 αυγό Για το σερβίρισμα: ▫️βούτυρο ▫️σιρόπι σφενδάμου (maple syrup) ΕΚΤΕΛΕΣΗ: 1. Σε ένα μπολ, ρίχνουμε το αλεύρι, τη ζάχαρη, το μπέικιν πάουντερ και μια πρέζα αλάτι. Ανακατεύουμε και αφήνουμε στην άκρη. 2. Σε ένα δεύτερο μπολ, προσθέτουμε το γάλα, το λιωμένο βούτυρο (να μην είναι καυτό) και το αυγό. Ανακατεύουμε καλά με ένα σύρμα χειρός μέχρι να ομογενοποιηθούν τα υλικά. 3. Προσθέτουμε το μείγμα με το αλεύρι στο μπολ με τα υγρά υλικά και ανακατεύουμε με μια σπάτουλα μέχρι να σχηματιστεί ένας λείος χυλός. Ο χυλός πρέπει να είναι πηχτός αλλά να μπορεί να χυθεί. Αν είναι πολύ πηχτός, μπορούμε να προσθέσουμε λίγο ακόμα γάλα μέχρι να φτάσουμε στην επιθυμητή σύσταση. 4. Ζεσταίνουμε ένα αντικολλητικό τηγάνι σε μέτρια φωτιά. Αλείφουμε ελαφρά με λίγο λάδι ή βούτυρο. 5. Μόλις το τηγάνι ζεσταθεί καλά, ρίχνουμε μια ποσότητα από τον χυλό με μια κουτάλα. Απλώνουμε τον χυλό με το πίσω μέρος της κουτάλας ώστε να πάρει κυκλικό σχήμα. 6. Ψήνουμε για περίπου 1-2 λεπτά, μέχρι να αρχίσουν να σχηματίζονται φουσκάλες στην επιφάνεια. Γυρίζουμε προσεκτικά με μια σπάτουλα και ψήνουμε για ακόμη 1-2 λεπτά, μέχρι να ροδίσει όμορφα και από την άλλη πλευρά. 7.
