It’s a family-owned business with butcher delicacies that’s been around for four generations. They produce their own cold cuts, and it was so special to see how much care they put into it.
Saturdays and Sundays are the only days they open for brunch, so it’s a perfect weekend getaway if you’re looking for something a little different. The food was honestly amazing, and we had such a great time. Definitely worth the visit! ❤️

🍳 Who doesn't like a good brunch at the village?
Located in Politiko village, at @filimon_gefseis you can try anything from traditional boukkoma to Cypriot "tacos", all made using homemade products.
We tried the Cypriot version of shakshuka (Πομιλοροτιάνιση) as well as an alternative French toast (Το Πόπαστον) made with anari cheese, cinnamon and honey that tasted exactly like pourekkia with anari!
We were impressed with both dishes and we can't wait to be back and try the eggs Benedict as they looked divine!
