A good Gyro is hard to find and the great news is that @gourmet.gyros is here to satisfy that need!
Located in Larnaca, Gourmet Gyro managed to satisfy my Gyro needs and I have some information you need to know.
a) First of all, the Lamb gyro is imported directly from the UK, so you get that premium meat that sometimes we lack in cyprus.
b) The fries!!!! Cypriot fresh cut fries like your mother used to make you when you were young! The are delivered from “kokkinoxoria” so you know they’re awesome 🤩
c) They do a range of gyro related products like Gyro Burger , Gyro Club Sandwich, Classic Gyro in 🇬🇷 & 🇨🇾 pitta
d) The halloumi fries!!! Real cypriot halloumi, not that rubbery manufactured stuff! It nice and salty and village halloumi texture we all loved as kids.
e) Vegan / Vegetarian choices for our non meat eating friends 😘
Finally the store is a nice modern clean store, everything prepared daily and looks super fresh! A huge thumbs up 👍🏻

Been getting DM's to try this place for a while now, with everything that was going on it just didn't happen. But everything happens for a reason and that reason was to finally come and try the new menu!
Lets start by saying Holy cow is a stylish cozy place with in Larnaka with the most friendly staff. Just from the welcoming you know its gonna be a goodexperience.
With an in house Chef and Pastry chef everything is prepared to perfection as I will explain furtherdown.
The new menu had a variety of fish related dishes and being summer its only fitting.
The yellowfin tuna tataki clearly shows that they use only premium ingredients. Things like the Seabass Ceviche tacos and Prawn Bao Buns, you could notice the crunchy taco tortillas and freshly steamed bao buns were all made In house and not that supermarket quality other places offer 😅
Then came the main dishes. The New Holy Combo for Two is a must! You choose any two burgers from the menu and you get 2 jumbo (literally jumbo) prawns grilled perfectly and flavoured to perfection!
I cannot express enough that you must visit Holy cow for this platter. Thats how much I guarantee you'll love it. And if the prawns weren't enough, the burgers had to be one of the best I've tried in recent times. Do you deliver in Nicosia? 😭
Other dishes like the prawn katsu burger, the duck fillet and picanha steak again all so different between them and flavourful.
Finally the desserts! All in house made from scratch. The Cardinalios with red fruit coulis had to be the best Cardinalio I've had on the Island! 💯 getting again!
Then I was hit with the creamiest salted caramel cheesecake with peanut butter frosting 🤤🤤🤤 I think it will be my Birthday cake this August (23rd😉)
Check their instagram for cakes because you can actually perorder any cake, and they do a wide range of custom cakes for various occasions.

Larnaca I'm so jelaous of you for being the home of @hoststreetfood 🥲
I can without hesitation say it's one of my favourite burgers on the island recently.
The recipe creations are from two top chefs @pante_dem & @noel_chef and they have come up with their own unique bun recipe, which what makes this burger stand out.
It has a buttery soft texture, feels like holding clouds and just melts in your mouth on first bite.
Don't let their instagram fool you, it's a home made food place during the day doing traditional food items, but transforms into a streetfood joint in the evening.
You must try at least one of all items preferably in the below order...
a) The Chicken katsu to share
b) Host chicken wings spicy sriracha
c) Then as many burgers you can take down
i) The killer
ii) Truffle bomb
iii) Burrata burger
Also get the bacon & cheesy fries 🤤

P.S. The value for money is unbelievable, next time Im driving to Limassol, I'll just take a left to Larnaca and just like that I've saved 50% on Gas & Food!
@bullngold has to be one of the most premium sports bars in Cyprus.
The food isn't your standard sports bar food, as you can see it's more elegant plated dishes.
They also have the typical burger (meat & vegan) Sausage platters and the best BBQ wings to share.
And finally a place that does a proper Lava cake 🌋 that explodes with oozing chocolate when opened.

Another weekend brunch gone superb at @tokafetischrysanthis
I always use to pass by To Kafe tis Chrysanthis but was always full, so on Sunday I said I'll just queue up till a table is ready. To my surprise they told us they have plenty seating upstairs.
Did not expect to see this beautiful spacious area (swipe 👉🏻 to see)
Now apart from the great vibe of @tokafetischrysanthis the food was top notch also as you can see from my photos. They have three different breakfast plates, I got the halloumi breakfast. The Halloumi was soooo squeaky but crisp at the same time 🤤
You can also get various other dishes like eggs benedict and salads.
So next time your lost for places, give it a try, there might be tables upstairs and you'll have a blast of a time chilling in a clean modern environment

Brunch is all about the food and a whole lot more sometimes and Bastet offers a nice experience from the flowery decor, something you'll find in the streets of London, to the live DJ playing the greatest mix of music from today's and past hits.
As for the food I really enjoyed my fluffy Anari & Cinnamon pancakes 🥞 and half of that pretty eggs benedict.
They also served us some unique brunch dishes you wont find anywhere else, like the Brunch Pizza with egg and the chocolate filled croissant.
Finally had some brunch cocktails while I just chilled listening to the music and cool breeze passing through tye Q City Centre complex where its located.

@f00drink had the genius idea to visit @itburgerlarnaca 🍔 incase of local lockdown in Nicosia, so we took the chance today to make the trip. Well, a trip that we didn't regret!

So if you're getting your final summer swims near Oroklini (well maybe summer isn't as over as we think, 47 degrees today) you might wanna try @theforestlca for some out of the box fusion food. The menu is huge so I'll be back to try some other dishes that caught my eye.
Had the Katsumoto, thats crispy battered beef strips topped with Asian slaw. The interesting thing about this burger, is that its made from a Tsourekki Bun! 🤤
Also had this Vegan verison using crispy seitan!
Finally tried something different, the English Greek. It's feta with scrambled egg!!! I would seriously recommend this if you're here between breakfast & lunch! Lets say Brunch 🤷🏻♂️
