What an Amazing experience at @palermo.pastateca.siciliana we had! From warm delicious pasta to warm yet fun hospitality in the most beautiful Sicilian themed restaurant in Cyprus
Every little detail is inspired by the owners childhood growing up in near Palermo Sicily with his Grandmother
The decor from wall tiles to table tops are imported from Italy, and even the sink in the toilet is his grandmothers traditional bread making bowl
It doesn't stop there. The pasta ingredients are mainly imported from Italy & Sicily and use only the finest ingredients to make fresh pasta right infront of you daily
There's 14 types of pasta dishes using spaghetti, tagliatelle, pappardelle and other traditional pasta types. Each flavor is uniquely different as I tried 4 types. The Spaghetti Al Bisque Di Gamberi had to be my favorite. The carbonara was also a favorite as no fresh cream is used. Made only with eggs yolks, pecorino romano cheese and pasta water, it was the tastiest carbonara I've had in Cyprus that wasn't heavy on the stomach or leaving me bloated
@palermo.pastateca.siciliana has to be one if the few places in Limassol that I'm totally jealous we don't have in Nicosia
You can find them on the delivery platforms, but I would strongly advise to drop in also and see the store and catch their vibe. Well you probably got an idea from this reel 🤭

This summer's hottest new entry has to be @samo_limassol located within @splash.man_ fashion boutique in Limassol.
The menu is I would say an Italian inspired cuisine but with a touch of the Splash families personal favourite elements. There's a whole concept behind this restaurant, from the inspiration of the name SAMO to the concept of food & fashion all in one.
Highly recommended 💯

• Beef Carpaccio with truffle mayo
• Vegetable fritto
• Nicoise style Fresh Tuna salad
• Grilled Calamari
• Linguine Al Tartufo
• Spaghetti with Curry Clams Mussels

Last but not least the amazing Vegan blueberry chocolate tart and some homemade ice-cream choices, which included a too die for pistachio flavour also.
