This is the only cake you need to be making this Christmas: Delicious melomakarono cake with honey and walnuts, topped with Biscoff spread and crushed Biscoff biscuits! Ingredients: 220 ml (1 cup) orange juice 100 ml (1/2 cup) vegetable oil 3 tbsp honey 1/2 tbsp cinnamon powder 1/2 tsp clove powder 1 tsp orange zest 300 gr (2 1/2 cups) self-raising flour 80 gr ground walnuts 2 tsp baking powder 125 gr Lotus Biscoff spread (+2 tbsp for topping) 3 tbsp crushed Lotus Biscoff biscuits Mix the orange juice, vegetable oil, honey, cinnamon and clove powder, orange zest and Biscoff spread in a large bowl. Add the ground walnuts and self-raising flour mixed with the baking powder. Mix until the flour is incorporated but avoid overmixing. Add the mixture into a buttered cake pan and bake at 180C for 35’. Take the cake out of the pan and allow it to cool down for a few minutes. Add the Biscoff spread and pour it all over the cake. If is too thick, simply heat it for a few seconds. Finally, sprinkle the cake with some crushed Biscoff biscuits and enjoy! #melomakarona #cake #recipes #biscoff

We had some leftover cherries and were inspired by @cuisinovia's cherry and anari coffee cake to make this (with a few changes because we can never follow a recipe completely 🤭) The cake is so light and fluffy and you can make it even if you don't have cherries 🍒 - suggestions below! Ingredients: 300 gr cherries 140 gr unsalted butter 120 gr sugar 2 eggs 1 tablespoon limoncello 1 tablespoon lemon zest 250 gr unsalted anari 2 tbsp greek yoghurt 2 tsp baking powder 120 gr flour Beat together the butter and sugar until creamy and add the eggs one at a time. Add the limoncello, lemon zest and yoghurt. Crush the anari with a fork and add it to the cake batter. Add the flour, baking powder and salt and pour the batter in a pan lined with baking paper. Add the cherries on top and press lightly. Cook in a preheated oven on 160 °C for 60 minutes. When it's not cherry season you can substitute the cherries with blueberries for an equally delicious cake! 🫐 #cherrycake #cakerecipe #cake #recipe #blueberries #blueberrycake
