What another great find in the heart of Nicosia @topikamezebar is!
Topika (meaning Local in greek) gets it's name from the concept of the restaurant. All ingredients are local and home grown either from their own plot in Flasou village or neighbouring farmers. These are all used to cook up some tasty, fresh and unique dishes.
The dishes are so well balanced between each other, I would recommend getting various from the starter section, 1-2 fresh salads to share and a couple of fish dishes and 1 meat dish.
Finally had the most delicious home made Baklava Cheesecake that was the special of the day. I got a couple of DM's to try some more desserts, but I'll save those for another day!
Btw, the cocktails here are so refreshing with vibes of summer flavours
All in all, @topikamezebar is highly recommended without a doubt!!!
Make sure to make a reservation because, it's Nicosia's best kept secret... Till now! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

One of the last restaurants I managed to visit before the latest covid measures & lockdown.
@proavlio_tavern has to be one of the most unique places to dine under the stars. Proavlio meaning Courtyard, got it's name cause its located infront on one of the oldest churches in Cyprus.
The tavern offers up scaled Cypriot meze food.
Featured photo is that of Ofto kleftiko! Its a must. Also had the awesome creamy Pastichio, alongside a generous mix grill dish of various meats. Had so many small side dish plates also, all unique in there own way.
Finally, the dessert, Portokalopitta with mastic ice-cream! 🤤 still drooling! Make sure you 👉🏻 to see it!

Foul (full) tou meze does exactly what the name suggests. The meat smorgasbord at @foultoumeze is the true definition of #meatporn. The star dish is the Traditional Creatan Antikristo Lamb. Perfect location for these nice Nicosian summer nights.
