It's National 🥐 Croissant day and reminiscing this flaky croissant I (partially) made. Got myself a plain croissant from @honestbreadcy and from there on, just use your imagination. Its one of the most versatile types of pastries to go wild with. I added a generous amount of pistachio cream 💚 and freshly crushed pistachio nuts
I always get requests where I got the pistachio cream from, check Amazon.de to save on import duties but recently came upon pistachio cream in various confectionary stores like New York Sweets, Elements Fine desserts and others.

Extraordinary food at a extraordinary hotel located at Platres in the Troodos mountains. @petitpalais_platres was entirely renovated just before covid happened. Its categorised as a boutique hotel and deserves that title.
The food is beyond the standard menu you find in villages. They have an in-house pastry chef and I strongly advise to try the Portokalopitta, Tiramisu, Banoffee & Chocolate cake 🤣 Ok all of them!
