Right across from our hotel (not sure if it was coincidence or Anna's awesome skills at picking hotels) there seemed to always be a huge line of people waiting to buy the famous Bifanas do Alfonso. Bifanas are traditional Portuguese sandwiches, made with thin slices of pork that are marinated and simmered in a sauce of white wine, garlic and paprika, served on soft rolls with plenty of mustard 🤤 This place is definitely one of the most famous ones in Lisbon with fresh buns and delicious pork, and we may have joined the queue in more than one occasion 😅😅 Definitely one for your list! . . . . . #bifanas #traditional #portuguese #sandwitch #portugal #lisboa #lisbon #summer #architecture #porto #photography #visitportugal #iloveportugal #travelgram #historical #city #instatravel
