Literally said Holy Cow with every dish I tried at @holycow.neocanteen Been getting DM's to try this place for a while now, with everything that was going on it just didn't happen. But everything happens for a reason and that reason was to finally come and try the new menu! Lets start by saying Holy cow is a stylish cozy place with in Larnaka with the most friendly staff. Just from the welcoming you know its gonna be a goodexperience. With an in house Chef and Pastry chef everything is prepared to perfection as I will explain furtherdown. The new menu had a variety of fish related dishes and being summer its only fitting. The yellowfin tuna tataki clearly shows that they use only premium ingredients. Things like the Seabass Ceviche tacos and Prawn Bao Buns, you could notice the crunchy taco tortillas and freshly steamed bao buns were all made In house and not that supermarket quality other places offer 😅 Then came the main dishes. The New Holy Combo for Two is a must! You choose any two burgers from the menu and you get 2 jumbo (literally jumbo) prawns grilled perfectly and flavoured to perfection! I cannot express enough that you must visit Holy cow for this platter. Thats how much I guarantee you'll love it. And if the prawns weren't enough, the burgers had to be one of the best I've tried in recent times. Do you deliver in Nicosia? 😭 Other dishes like the prawn katsu burger, the duck fillet and picanha steak again all so different between them and flavourful. Finally the desserts! All in house made from scratch. The Cardinalios with red fruit coulis had to be the best Cardinalio I've had on the Island! 💯 getting again! Then I was hit with the creamiest salted caramel cheesecake with peanut butter frosting 🤤🤤🤤 I think it will be my Birthday cake this August (23rd😉) Check their instagram for cakes because you can actually perorder any cake, and they do a wide range of custom cakes for various occasions. All in all, one of my favourite restaurants in a while and some of my other foodie friends will also agree! Located in beautiful Protaras, I'm sure every Cypriot holidayer should visit at least once this year. And don't stop at sushi, because folio is much more. They do steaks also. Honey you were wonderful last night.... I meant @honeymodmedrest 😈 Just walking in the the small streets of old town pafos, we came upon Honey restaurant, and thought... Hmmm. Thankfully we managed to get a table without a reservation (not advised) The food was sooo good, next time I would probably get exactly the same. The Prawns & Scallop in the sauce is a must!! I was sipping the sauce like soup at the end. Then the steak!!! Perfectly Medium Rare... and full of flavour. Also had the most fresh mozzarella salad for starters & finished the night with a huge piece of Tiramisu. Now apart from great food, something I rarely discuss is service. The service here is 💯! Today I'll start by showing you this hidden gem in Limassol @kissos_taverna Now let's talk about the concept of this restaurant. When you first enter this cosy restaurant, you're surrounded by the vibrant colors of various houses, as if your on a greek island all under hanging tree leaves in a cool well air conditioned space (even though it was 40 degrees outside). The surrounding walls are 4 different houses with their own setup and all share the same garden, this garden is the seating area. Check out the photos I've added. It also has one of the largest fish tanks with 100's of fish (swipe 👉🏻 to see the video) It's a fish tavern bit also has other meat selections for the whole family. I got the fish meze which was just perfect to fill me up. You'll definitely be seeing more stories of this place soon and definitely will be booking the private seating area shown in the video above! @bebabun is the little offspring of @beba_restaurant which just happened to win @checkincyprus best new restaurant in 2019. During this pandemic, I would say @bebabun could've been nominated as best new popup! The menu is simple, custom made pitta bread with various flavours to choose from. I naturally found choosing according to the name and the mood I was in, how weird is that! So the Underwater Pimp caught my eye, its tempura Octopus in a squid ink bun. Something healthy today! #ZOODLES These are zucchini noodles with shrimp. Its a keto friendly recipe, nice and tangy lemon flavour with a pinch of red chillies for spice! Soooo yummy! Let me know in the comments Thanks @kyr_map for the idea! • • #zoodles #zuchinni #noodles #🍝#🍜 #🍤 #shrimp Recipe 👇🏻 • • • * 4 medium zucchini * 680.39 g approx 30 raw shrimp, peeled and deveined * 2 tbsp olive oil * 4 garlic cloves, finely chopped * 2 tbsp butter * 1 lemon, juice and zest * 60 g white wine, or chicken broth * 15 g chopped parsley * pinch of red pepper flakes * salt and pepper, to taste Instructions Wash and cut the ends of the zucchini. Using a spiralizer, make the zucchini pasta. Then, set aside. Heat the oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp in one flat layer and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cook for one minute without stirring, so the bottom side gets a little crispy. Add the chopped garlic, then stir the shrimp for another minute or two to cook the other side. Use a large spoon or tongs to remove the shrimp to a plate. Add the butter, lemon juice and zest, red pepper flakes and white wine to the pan. Bring to a simmer for 2-3 minutes while stirring.
