That difference matters. Some of the best restaurants in the world were average in their first three months. If they had been publicly destroyed in week two, they would not exist today. Timing matters as much as honesty. A negative post takes thirty seconds to write. The restaurant took years of savings, loans and sleepless nights to build. Behind every kitchen there are families paying rent from those tables. In a big city, a bad post disappears in a week. In Cyprus, people still mention reviews from years ago. We have watched places carry a reputation long after they fixed the problem. One visit is a sample, not a verdict. Even the best kitchen in the country has an off night. Would you want to be judged forever on your worst day at work? Harsh content performs better. More clicks, more shares, more followers. Which means some creators are not reviewing food anymore, they are farming outrage. Always ask who benefits from the brutality. Every chef we respect says the same thing. Tell us while you are here. A problem raised at the table gets fixed in minutes. A post published days later cannot be fixed at all. Feedback should pass one test: does it help the restaurant get better, or does it only help the person posting it? If it is the second one, it is not a review. Our silence is our review. If we visit somewhere and never post about it, that tells you everything. What we will not do is turn someone’s livelihood into content. We genuinely want to hear both sides on this one. If every generation has an Evroulla and a Taki in the heart of their capital city then we’ll be okay 👌 Lunchtime in Cyprus with @cypruseats 🇨🇾 A wholesome spot in Lefkosia with different specials each day. A new Asian spot recently opened up in Limassol, and we were really excited to try it! They have a relatively small menu with some classic Asian dishes like Pad Thai noodles, Beef Pho and Pad See Ew as well as more mainstream options like the Teriyaki Chicken and Sweet and Sour Prawns. The portions were really large and the food was incredibly tasty - unfortunately we couldn’t try everything but we will definitely be back for more! This was our first time trying The Gallery at the Parklane Resort & Spa and we were really impressed with their brunch options as well as the pan-Asian lunch and dinner! Some of the highlights were the wagyu sliders, the miso cod, the beef sirloin steak, the matcha cheesecake, the basque cheesecake, the shakshuka, the chia pudding, the peinirli and the Danish pastry. We spent an entire weekend at the resort creating content and trying most of their dishes and we can confirm that it is a great spot for coffee, breakfast, lunch or dinner, especially on their beautiful terrace overlooking the sea! #cyprus #limassol
