An all-day destination for breakfast, lunch and dinner in Nicosia, Vetrina, located in the iconic The Landmark Nicosia Hotel is serving Mediterranean-inspired dishes alongside a deli and carefully selected artisanal products as well as a well-stocked wine cellar and retail area. We really enjoyed the food as well as their unique signature cocktails, with our personal favorites being their Paccheri pasta with slow-cooked veal cheeks and the stone-baked pinsa Romana with burrata, prosciutto crudo and rocket. #nicosia

We still have a good few months of summer weather in Cyprus, making it the perfect time for outdoors dinner dates! A few weeks ago we tried the summer menu of @topikamezebar and it did not disappoint. This is everything we got: - Kibbeh-style homemade flatbread (our favorite of the night, full of flavor and the one we’d order again without thinking) - Watermelon dakos with feta and spearmint ice cream (refreshing and different, especially for summer) - Prawn souvlaki (grilled just right, nothing too heavy) - Grilled calamari (simple, well cooked) - Lemony courgette skioufikta (fresh and bright, with that lemon kick that keeps you going back for more) - Dry-aged Cypriot bon filet (tender and rich, more classic) - Shiamishi cream (light dessert to finish off the meal) Overall, it felt like a menu that really works for summer. ΤΟΠΙΚΑ Meze Bar is the perfect spot to enjoy delicious Mediterranean fusion dishes, in a sharing style, along with unique cocktails in the center of Nicosia! 🍹 They regularly update their menu with new dishes, and sometimes bring back some old favorites! This was our second time visiting TOPIKA and we can honestly say that it's a place that consistently delivers delicious food using locally sourced ingredients! A must-visit in Nicosia in our opinion. Here's everything we tried this time around: • Autumn Salad: carrot, beetroot, kolhrabi, cabbage, raisings. smoked almonds, sweet-and-sour dressing - very refreshing and at the same time autumn-appropriate • Cheese loukoumades: mosfilo jam with lavender, sun-dried tomato, chili, poppy seed - tastes exactly like a loukoumas with a cheesy filling plus an added sweetness from the mosfilo jam • Open Meat Pie: minced beef and lamb sweet potato puree, mature cheddar, yoghurt sauce inside a crispy fillo - if you only try one dish from here, make sure it's this one! • Sea bass ceviche: coconut & lime sorbet, pickled cucumber, pomegranate, spicy leche, sweet potato crisps - we especially loved the addition of the sorbet from @laglacerie_cyprus and the crispiness from the sweet potato crisps • Prawn burger: horseradish mayonnaise, beetroot ketchup, wasabi crisps • Dry-aged Cypriot 'Bon fillet' with potato croquette & mushroom purée -cooked to perfection and perfectly matched with the side dishes We also tried several of their cocktails and they were all delicious! #TopikaMeze #NicosiaRestaurants #Nicosia #Cyprus |Meze Bar, Nicosia, Cyprus, Restaurants, Food|

SENTIO is Nicosia's newest entry by @andreas.yiangoullas and is definitely one for your list, with a Mediterranean inspired menu with Middle-Eastern and Asian influences and a sharing philosophy. On the menu you can find raw, hot and on-the-charcoal options, and we had a difficult time deciding what to try first! We went with the Crispy Squid with za'atar and wasabi ganache, which was crispy, tasty and well-seasoned, the prawn yiouvetsi which was light and delicious, the Charred Broccolini served with pickles and peanuts, and we ended our night with the Sirloin Steak served with truffle and goat cheese fries and pepper jus! A rather new entry in Nicosia, @kuzuba_ -which in Greek means "grape vine trunk"- is a restaurant that focuses on serving simple dishes with quality ingredients that reflect Cyprus' rich food culture.
