Right in the center of old Aglantzia you can find @kafeneioimikrirodia, a small coffee shop that also serves a delicious Cypriot brunch buffet on weekends with dishes like homemade courgette pie, fresh anari cheese, eggs and local sausages. Even if you don’t visit for their buffet, on their menu you’ll find traditional pies, sweets and homemade lemonade to enjoy the vibes of old Aglantzia. This was our second time visiting LPM to try their La Vie en Rosé brunch - a three hour experience where you can select one of the set menu options with unlimited starters and drinks, or order à la carte from an amazing selection of signature dishes 🤍 We ordered some of our favorites, including the warm prawns as well as some new ones with the creamy scrambled eggs being our favorite new dish, all accompanied with 3 servings of the delicious Black Lemonade (went with the bottomless non-alcoholic option). We of course closed our meal with the exceptional Vanilla cheesecake that never disappoints! We didn’t expect to find the best French toast we ever tried on the menu of a liquor bar... but we did! Granazi has just restarted their “Days at Granazi”, serving brunch on weekends with their menu offering some unique options compared to the popular brunch classics. It was the first time visiting and we only tried two things from the menu (since we were going for lunch after) but we suspect that it will become a favorite as we’ll definitely return for that French toast and to try some more of their dishes (by chef @petrosandrianou) #brunch #nicosia #cyprus

Πάμε να φτιάξουμε τα πιο λαχταριστά pancakes για brunch στο σπίτι, γεμιστά με τυρί και αλλαντικά! Υλικά για 6 περίπου μέτρια pancakes: (Για το μείγμα) • 2 ποτήρια αλεύρι για όλες τις χρήσεις • 2 κ.γ. baking powder • 1/2 κ.γ. μαγειρική σόδα • 1/2 κ.γ. αλάτι • 1 3/4 ποτηριού γάλα • 1 μεγάλο αυγό • 6 φέτες τυρί Frico • 6 φέτες αλλαντικά • 1 κ.σ. βούτυρο Frico • 1 κ.σ. λάδι • 1 αυγό και maple syrup για το σερβίρισμα Ετοιμάζουμε το μείγμα για τα pancakes και το αφήνουμε να ξεκουραστεί για 5’ μέχρι να κόψουμε μερικές φέτες από τυρί και αλλαντικά σε κύκλους (οι οποίοι να είναι λίγο μικρότεροι από το μέγεθος που θέλουμε για τα pancakes). Εμείς επιλέξαμε τυρί Gouda και Emmental από Frico. Σε ένα τηγάνι απλώνουμε λίγο από τον βούτυρο Frico μαζί με λάδι και προσθέτουμε 2 κουταλιές από το μείγμα. Τοποθετούμε το τυρί και τα αλλαντικά και τελειώνουμε με μία ακόμη γεμάτη κουταλιά από το μείγμα. Ψήνουμε για 2-3 λεπτά από κάθε μεριά. Απλώνουμε ακόμη λίγο από τον βούτυρο και το λάδι πριν ψήσουμε το κάθε pancake και συνεχίζουμε μέχρι να έχουμε περίπου 6 μέτρια pancakes. Σερβίρουμε με ένα τηγανιτό αυγό και maple syrup και τα pancakes μας είναι έτοιμα! #pancakes #breakfast #recipe #frico #cheese #brunch

🍳This trend has been going around for a while so we wanted to see if it’s worth the hype - it totally is! You can have a healthy and delicious meal in less than 30 minutes with only a 10’ preparation [🇬🇷 Below] We already made this twice and we’ll definitely be making it again! You’ll need: • 1 large tortilla • 3 eggs • 1/4 cup of milk • 1/3 cup chopped green pepper • 1/4 cup thinly sliced purple onion • 1/3 cup chopped orange pepper • 2 mushrooms finely sliced • 5 cherry tomatoes halved • 1/3 cup grated Frico Mediterranean Gouda • 1/3 cup grated Frico Gouda • Salt and pepper *You can also add any other ingredients like different vegetables or cold cuts in your quiche. Place the tortilla in a round baking dish that’s slightly smaller than the tortilla. Add the eggs, milk, salt and pepper and whisk. Add your chopped vegetables and half the cheese and mix together. Add the remaining cheese on top. We added the Mediterranean Gouda inside for extra flavor and the Gouda on top. Bake in the oven at 190°C for 20 minutes, until the eggs have fully cooked. Enjoy! [GR] • 1 μεγάλη τορτίγια • 3 αυγά • 1/4 φλιτζάνι γάλα • 1/3 φλιτζάνι πράσινη πιπεριά ψιλοκομμένη • 1/4 φλιτζάνι μωβ κρεμμύδι σε λεπτές φέτες 1/3 φλιτζάνι ψιλοκομμένη πορτοκαλί πιπεριά • 2 μανιτάρια κομμένα σε φέτες • 5 ντοματίνια κομμένα στη μέση • 1/3 φλιτζάνι τριμμένο Frico Mediterranean Gouda • 1/3 φλιτζάνι τριμμένο Frico Gouda • Αλατοπίπερο *Μπορείτε επίσης να προσθέσετε οποιαδήποτε άλλα υλικά σας αρέσουν. Τοποθετήστε την τορτίγια σε ένα στρογγυλό ταψί που να είναι ελαφρώς μικρότερο από την τορτίγια. Προσθέστε τα αυγά, το γάλα, αλάτι και πιπέρι και χτυπήστε καλά. Προσθέστε τα ψιλοκομμένα λαχανικά σας και το μισό τυρί και ανακατέψτε. Προσθέστε το υπόλοιπο τυρί από πάνω. Εμείς προσθέσαμε το Mediterranean Gouda μέσα στην quiche για έξτρα γεύση και το Gouda από πάνω. Τα All Natural αλλαντικά είναι φτιαγμένα με 100% φυσικά συστατικά, χωρίς συντηρητικά, χnμικά πρόσθετα, χρωστικές, αλλεργιογόνα και γλουτένη! 🥐Croissant Bake Υλικά: • 3 φέτες ψητό ζαμπόν All Natural • 3 φέτες ψητό στήθος γαλοπούλας All Natural • 3 αυγά • 6 croissant • 1/2 ποτήρι γάλα • 1 κ.γ. σκόνη σκόρδο • 1 κ.γ. δεντρολίβανο • 1/2 ποτήρι τριμμένη μοτσαρέλα • Αλάτι • Πιπέρι Κόβουμε τα croissant σε 3 κομμάτια το καθένα. Σε ένα μπολ χτυπάμε τα αυγά με το γάλα και τα μπαχαρικά, βουτάμε μέσα τα croissant και τα τοποθετούμε σε ένα ταψί. Τα περιχύνουμε με το υπόλοιπο μείγμα και τοποθετούμε τις φέτες αλλαντικών ενδιάμεσα. Mango is the ultimate summer fruit, and starting your day with this tropical smoothie bowl will make you feel like you are at a tropical beach! 🍹 Ingredients (serves 1): • 1 cup frozen mango • 100 ml coconut milk • 1 tablespoon honey • 2 teaspoons lime juice Toppings: • 3 strawberries • 1 tablespoon coconut flakes • 1 teaspoon chia seeds To make the smoothie bowl we used the BlendJet 2 portable blender from @rawandtonic, starting with the liquids in the bottom and adding a bit more water if needed. Once everything is blended completely, pour the mixture in a bowl and decorate with the strawberries, coconut flakes and chia seeds. Enjoy! Υλικά (1 μερίδα): • 1 φλιτζάνι κατεψυγμένο μάνγκο • 100 ml γάλα καρύδας • 1 κουταλιά της σούπας μέλι • 2 κουταλάκια του γλυκού χυμό λάιμ Για το σερβίρισμα: • 3 φράουλες • 1 κουταλιά της σούπας νιφάδες καρύδας • 1 κουταλάκι του γλυκού σπόροι chia Χτυπήστε το μάνγκο μαζί με το γάλα καρύδας, το μέλι και τον χυμό λάιμ στο μπλέντερ (εμείς χρησιμοποιήσαμε το φορητό BlendJet 2 μπλέντερ από το @rawandtonic) ξεκινώντας από τα υγρά στον πάτο και προσθέτοντας λίγο περισσότερο νερό αν χρειάζεται. 📍Brunching at @jinco_cy! You’ll find this beautiful and cozy brunch spot in Pera village, just 30 minutes outside of Nicosia. All the brunch options were delicious and the pancakes were really fluffy, but most importantly they had the most delicious mango smoothie!
