As we all know by now, Athens is known for its incredible food - and the best part is that you can find great spots in almost every neighbourhood, even the ones that haven’t been blown up all over Instagram 👀
That’s exactly how we found this little gem - @metompardon in Pangrati. A fun twist on some Greek favourites like dolmades and souvlaki, with a few special extras that made everything that little bit more interesting 🇬🇷🍴

🇨🇾We may be biased, but there are some things about Cyprus that we don’t think get enough credit. From bakeries that never sleep to a kiosk on basically every corner, we really are spoiled for choice ☺️

Athens friends… we have just found y(our) new go-to spot for paidakia 👀🔥
We headed to @to.koutouki.tou.marathoniti in Pangrati after seeing it recommended by @ikon5 - and let’s just say the hype was real (and yes, he happened to be there when we were too!). From the starters to the endless plates of meat, this place is the definition of a proper Greek taverna experience.
If you’re used to making the classic pilgrimage to Stekki tou Ilia for paidakia… it might be time to expand the list. Trust us on this one - your Athens food map just got an upgrade. 🥩🍷
