#ad Making focaccia is easier than you think! With this recipe you can make your own fluffy homemade focaccia for the Christmas table or for a cozy cheese & wine night at home ✨ You can find all the ingredients you need to make this at @foodhaus.cy Ingredients: 500 gr Caputo pizza flour 420 gr water 1 tsp yeast 1 tbsp olive oil (+ extra for the pan and to drizzle) 2 tsp salt Toppings: Maldon sea salt Rosemary Sun dried tomatoes Olive oil and balsamic vinegar to serve Instructions: In a large bowl mix the water with the olive oil and yeast until the yeast is dissolved. Add the flour and salt and combine with a wooden spoon until you have a very wet dough. Cover and leave to rest for about 20-30’ depending on the temperature. Stretch and fold the dough by pulling one side and bringing it over the opposite side. Repeat the process four times until the dough is shaped into a ball. Cover for another 20-30’. Do the same stretch and fold process one more time and let the dough rest in the bowl for one hour. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and about 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Fold the dough again so it’s easy to pick up and place it into the tray, folding it into a square shape. Drizzle with some more olive oil and cover with parchment paper and a cloth and leave to rest for 1h-1:30’. Uncover the dough and spread some rosemary leaves on top. Drizzle with more olive oil and dip your fingers in the dough to make dimples. To prevent the dough from sticking, dip your fingers in some olive oil first. Finish with some flakey sea salt and sun-dried tomatoes. You can also use any other toppings you like, for example olives or cherry tomatoes. Bake at 230°C for 20 minutes until the focaccia is golden brown on top. Serve with olive oil and balsamic vinegar and enjoy! #focaccia #christmasrecipes
