Sometimes all you need is a good pizza and an Aperol spritz, and at @theseablings_cy in Limassol you got both! We heard so many good things about this place and it definitely lives up to the hype - serving some of the most delicious pizza we tried in Cyprus. The spicy pepperoni one was out of this world, with fermented mango honey, spicy salami, pickled onion & homemade chili oil. The zesty mushroom one was also delicious, lighter with mushrooms, rosemary, garlic, lemon, ricotta, rucola and parmesan. 🍕Homemade pizza just hits differently, especially when made with Frico Mediterranean Gouda 🤤 🧀 The Mediterranean Gouda makes all the difference in flavor, with sun-dried tomatoes, olives, herbs and garlic! Save this amazing recipe for your summer pizza nights ✨ Toppings: - Frico Mediterranean Gouda cheese - Frico Edam cheese - Zucchini - Red onion - Cherry Tomatoes - Fresh basil For the dough (makes four small pizzas): - 2 cups warm water - 1 pack of dry yeast - 4 cups pizza flour + extra for dusting - 2 tablespoons olive oil - 1 teaspoon salt - 1 teaspoon white sugar For the tomato sauce: - 1 can of chopped tomatoes - 2 garlic cloves - 1 teaspoon oregano - 1 tablespoon olive oil - 1/2 teaspoon of salt 🍕 Start by making the dough: mix the water with the yeast and let it sit for 5'. Mix all the other ingredients and knead until a dough has formed. Place in a bowl and let it rest for about 1h or until it doubles in size. 🍅 To prepare the tomato sauce, heat the olive oil and place all the ingredients in a pan on low heat for 10' until the sauce has thickened. Take out the garlic cloves. 🍕 Prepare the pizzas and cook on high heat for about 15'. Bonus: If you like your dough extra crispy, cook it for 5' before placing the pizza ingredients on top!
