Mishmish is a modern Palestinian restaurant, with authentic recipes from @serenesadek grandmother & mother, but with her own funky twist bringing these dishes and flavours all to a new level.
You could say their food resembles a lot of our Cypriot cuisine, they use a lot of same ingredients like aubergine & chickpeas but add a whole lot of fresh spices imported from their homeland just for these recipes. Just look how vibrant and colorful all their dishes are. Some meat dishes can also be done in vegan versions if you ask for it 🌱

I seriously can't recommend a favourite dish because everything is so unique, that's why this was my 3rd time visiting to get a sample of all dishes.
But the one dish I will recommend after you're done eating, is a fresh piece of authentic Kunafe. Kunafe is said to originate from Palestine although you get many variants around the middle east including Turkey & Greece also
So if there's one restaurant I would recommend its @mishmish.cy
They operate 7 days a week for delivery and ask them directly for seat in & menu availability. They also offer a catering at home of the full menu 🤤 My next dinner party 💯💯

@getfreshcy got a fresh renovation, and with the inclusion of brunch, it just made it on my weekend brunch choice list 📝
First things first, the ambiance of Get Fresh matches its name... Fresh.
And second which is actually first, is that the food has a fresh take on it. I mean just see the photos.
I would definitely recommend all three dishes I tried today. The 🌱 Vegan Chickpea dish was my Top choice, that chickpea mayo really did it for me and the sourdough bread sooo nice.
Im always on the fence with shakshuka, cause usually its a just a mix of random spices and you don't get a balance of flavours... BUT, here the spices were spot on, soo clean and fresh, tasting each element with each bite.
Finally the pancakes 😋 Fresh Cyprus Anari, pomegranate, raw honey and granola. The pancakes were super soft and can I say the word "fresh" again 🙈

@elysianplantbased is the latest 🌱 Vegan spot in Nicosia, but first I'm showing you these delicious Caramel Pancakes 🥞 with homemade Caramel sauce and Bananas.
For main (swipe 👉🏻) I had a Vegan Cyprus Loukaniko with Almond Feta! The spices were spot on, and the texture was so meat-like.
Can't wait to go again and try many more of these dishes

Along side the new Vegan range they have also added refreshed recipe ofthe Pork Belly Bao Bun, 3 new sushi rolls and a totally new Duck Salad.
Now as for the Plantbased Vegan menu, I have to make notr that the plantbased "meat substitute" is made in house at Bao Pau, with special blend of ingredients that is exclusive to @baopaucy so no copycat recipes here.
During the week a group of my foodie friends & I all tried the Vegan choices and we all had something common to say, are you sure its Vegan? and if everything Vegan tasted like this, well sure, why not #veganlifestyle
