We tried a grilled selection including souvlaki, Cypriot sausage and pastourma and the most amazing fried zucchini, but you can also find a lot of homecooked dishes like keftedes, afelia, louvi and beans. From a small 1970s vintage horsebox food truck in Aradippou, Roussos pizza has now moved to a larger spot behind the Larnaca Agora, serving his familiar homemade Neapolitan-style pizzas! Their dough is fermented from 48 hours for a crispy texture and they have a lot of different pizza options to choose from. Our favorite remains the hot sausage pizza, now made with their own homemade sausage, while the creamy carbonara is also a great choice with salty pancetta and pasteurized egg yoke sauce! On the menu you can also find classic options like the margarita and new ones like the mortadella and pistachio or the tartufo pizza with truffle, and they now offer monthly special pizzas like ‘Loukaniko Krasato’ for this month that we definitely need to go back and try! Imagine having one of only 5 front-row seats with the chef preparing 15 Japanese dishes in front of you - this was our Omakase experience at Shinseina restaurant in Larnaca. The restaurant uses some of the finest ingredients, including high quality fish like bluefish tuna and premium wagyu meat. The rice they use for their nigiris is brought from Japan and served at room temperature to bring out its unique flavor - so you really shouldn’t dip your nigiri in soy sauce! We tried the intimate “Luxury Unfolded” experience, priced at €100/person (reservations mandatory). This was our second time visiting @topatrikon in Tersefanou, a restaurant known for its traditional Cypriot approach to Fine Dining that serves some of the most creative dishes in Cyprus. The new Seasonal 5-course set menu created by the Fokou siblings is a really unique experience of traditional Cypriot flavors and our favorite we tried so far at Patrikon! The cost of the menu, served between Thursday & Saturday, is 45 euro per person with an optional wine pairing for 25 euro, which we think is a great value for such an amazing experience! Run by a sister and three brothers, it really is a family business serving homemade Thai dishes. You can try everything from the classic pad thai to Thai curry dishes and soups! We tried the Pad Thai, chicken rice bowl, the fried rice (Kao Pad) and the Pad Kra Pao which is their most spicy dish, so make sure to only get it if you can handle some serious spice - and definitely don’t go for the ‘Thai Spicy’ level! 🌶️🌶️🌶️ We finished our dinner with some fried bananas topped with coconut and chocolate ice cream, and we’ll definitely be back soon to try the rest of their dishes! #restaurant #larnaca #cyprus

Summer is almost here and we found an amazing place in Larnaca to enjoy a delicious lunch by the sea, while watching the planes go by right next to us! 🛬 We visited Re.buke Lounge Restaurant at Mackenzie beach for lunch last week to check out the seafood options from their new menu. @thetamediterranean is not only about stunning sea views over the Mediterranean but also about delicious food, using quality ingredients and a flawless presentation of every dish. We had the opportunity to try a special six-course menu by multi-awarded consulting chef @michael_nourloglou and Theta's chef de cuisine @alelsandr_bekesevych and we were impressed with every single dish! Here's a list of everything we tried: • Ispahan Lobster with Ispahan's rose • Oyster, grapes, burnt onion and beurre blanc sauce • Sashimi from dry aged amberjack, fleur de salt, parsley and extra virgin olive oil • Sautéed shrimps, tangerine, tuna bacon and aged gruyere • Khinkali with meagre, smoked mussels, "kakavia" and herbs • Pink dentex fillet with taro puree, onion and hazelnut • Palate cleanser: Lemon sorbet with marinated guava • "Ekmek" cream, anari, caramelized tsoureki and kumquat Theta is definitely one of the most stunning restaurants we've visited in Cyprus and we can't wait to visit again to try their usual menu. 🍚 We love hearing about new places opening in Cyprus and we were very excited to try the new Poke Scuse in Larnaca! 🧡 You definitely can't find many poke shops in Cyprus so we were extra happy to discover this one! The poke was absolutely delicious with fresh ingredients and very filling bowls. 🌾 You can select from five different bases, including sushi rice, black or brown rice, basmati rice or salad and a lot of different toppings. Or you can pick one of the options on the menu. We went with one of each and both were equally delicious! Here's what we tried in case you want to get the same: 🌶️ Lava bowl: Sushi rice, tuna, salmon, pomegranate, red cabbage, carrots, green onion, orange tobiko, chili pepper, sesame seeds, Sriracha sauce. *this one's spicy but you can replace the Sriracha with spicy mayo if you want it a bit more mild and it will be equally delicious. 🥭 Make your own: Sushi rice, salmon, mango, wakame salad, avocado, green onion, crispy onions, sesame seeds, avocado sauce, spicy mayo sauce. #pokebowl #poke #larnacacyprus
