Last weekend, we had the pleasure of staying at Petit Palais Boutique Hotel in Platres and we were impressed by the amazing views, friendly staff and delicious dinner at the hotel's restaurant! The portions were huge and everything was prepared using fresh locally-sourced ingredients. We started our dinner with the Blood Orange Halloumi Quinoa salad and the Petit Palais salad; both were flavorful and refreshing, but the blood orange/halloumi combo was our absolute favorite! For our main course we had the half chargrilled chicken and the grilled pork chops, which were both perfectly cooked. Of course we couldn't resist dessert and opted for the classic millefeuille, which was the perfect way to end our meal. The homemade orange pie also looked divine, but we were so full that we had to postpone till our next visit! We were lucky enough to visit on one of the nights featuring live music, which was a really nice touch and made us enjoy our dinner even more! Extraordinary food at a extraordinary hotel located at Platres in the Troodos mountains. @petitpalais_platres was entirely renovated just before covid happened. Its categorised as a boutique hotel and deserves that title. The food is beyond the standard menu you find in villages. They have an in-house pastry chef and I strongly advise to try the Portokalopitta, Tiramisu, Banoffee & Chocolate cake 🤣 Ok all of them!
