Undoubtedly one of the most famous dishes you’ll find at a Greek Taverna, but also the easiest to make at home! A dish with distinct Ouzo notes that travels you to Greece every single time Ingredients : 100ml Ouzo 12 1 leek 200gr mushrooms 1 knob butter 300gr orzo 500ml stock Extra boiling water (Olive oil, salt, paprika) Method : We fry the leaks and mushrooms separately and out aside. We then slightly fry 6 medium-sized prawns with salt anf paprika, adding 100ml of Ouzo12. Flambé it will bring a nice chargrill texture. Keep frying till they caramelise, you can easily put out the flame with a simple blow. We slightly fry the Orzo to keep it from becoming mushy and gives it flavor too! Add 500ml of stock or water. When @ouzo12.gr sent me a gift pack, I made this authentic Greek Prawns and Feta Saganaki with ouzo and I’ll show you how easy it is so you can make it also Ingredients: - 16 large fresh or defrosted prawns in their shells (4 per person) - 300 gr. chopped tomatoes (in a carton) - 8-12 mini pommodori or cherry tomatoes, sliced in half - 1 leek, sliced - 2 spring onions, sliced - 1 sweet red pointed pepper, sliced - 1 green pointed pepper, sliced - ¼ fresh chili pepper, very finely chopped or ½ tsp. of chili flakes - 1 tbsp. fresh coriander, finely chopped - 150 gr. Greek feta, sliced - 80 ml. Ouzo12 (for marinating) - 80 ml. Ouzo12 (for cooking) - 1–2 star anise - 40 ml.
