I recently celebrated the joy of Christmas at TGI FRIDAYS™ with a selected group of foodie friends to sample the NEW GRILLED & SAUCY holiday menu. Our taste buds where jingled with an array of fire-grilled steaks, pork ribs, duck, and pork chops, all topped with their unique BOURBON CHERRY GLAZE. This festive sauce, blending Jack Daniel’s® Tennessee Honey, BBQ sauce, and cherries was a delightful surprise. The dishes came with delicious sides like the limited-time potatoes au Gratin and corn. To complement the meal, I sipped into the festive season with their NEW SEASON’S DRINKINGS. The MUDSLIDE cocktail was a velvety treat, combining Baileys, Vodka, Kahlúa coffee liqueur, and vanilla ice cream – truly indulgent! I also tried the HOLIDAY SANGRIA, a festive mix of rum and red wine that truly felt like Christmas in a glass. These seasonal offerings are only available for a limited time, and we were glad to have experienced them as to try something other than the beloved all year round Jack Daniels Glaze. What an absolute delight it was to be invited to one of the greatest Steakhouses in Cyprus (with 23 Restaurants across the globe and the only one in Europe right here in Limassol) @wolfgangssteakhousecy serve USDA Prime Black Angus beef which is dry-aged at each of their Restaurants for 28 days making it pure sublimity when it comes to a perfect steak! We had the pleasure of trying Wolfgang’s Signature Porterhouse Steak which was served on a sizzling plate and the amazing Tomahawk. They were delicious and literally melted in your mouth! @flatironsteak was always my favorite go to casual 🥩 steak place, with free popcorn 🍿 when you arrive, and the best cuts of beef 🐄 But recently introduced their Smoked Chilli Cheeseburger 🍔 using their own Flat Iron Herd Beef. I was skeptical on ordering as I had my fair share of burgers these days, and I knew I couldn't go wrong with steak. But last minute I went for the burger and soooo glaf I did so. It just knocked my seven years in a row Bleecker Burger to number 2, taking this to the number 1 slot! I'll be getting it every time from now on! New since I last visited was the Truffled Macaroni Cheese and the Crispy Bone Marrow Garlic Mash. I'll have to order all side dishes from now on! Finally, another nice treat is the free ice-cream!! Sear them for 3-4 minutes on each side with @lurpakcyprus butter (also available is new Lurpak Garlic butter) Prepare a chimichurri sauce, or if time is of essence, foodhaus has a @epicspicenapavalley mix that you just add oil. Decorate as you wish.
