This was our first time trying The Gallery at the Parklane Resort & Spa and we were really impressed with their brunch options as well as the pan-Asian lunch and dinner!
Some of the highlights were the wagyu sliders, the miso cod, the beef sirloin steak, the matcha cheesecake, the basque cheesecake, the shakshuka, the chia pudding, the peinirli and the Danish pastry.
We spent an entire weekend at the resort creating content and trying most of their dishes and we can confirm that it is a great spot for coffee, breakfast, lunch or dinner, especially on their beautiful terrace overlooking the sea!

This was our first time at the new Smoothie Factory & Kitchen in Larnaca! The food was delicious as always and the smoothies were super refreshing.
We ended up trying a mix of healthier and more decadent options which we really enjoyed - especially the Frenchy Pistachio french toast filled with crunchy kataifi and pistachio and topped with a salted caramel ice cream cone!

Nutella & Banana Roll-ups made easy
1. Trim the crusts from 6 slices of bread. Spread each slice with a thin layer of your desired filling, can be Nutella, white chocolate, or even cream cheese. Add your desired fruit, like banana or strawberries. Then roll them up!
2. Whisk together the 2 eggs and a dash of milk. Set aside.
3. In another small bowl, stir together 2 tablespoons granulated sugar with 2 teaspoons cinnamon. Set aside.
4. Place 3 tablespoons of my favourite @lurpakcyprus unsalted butter in a large non-stick saute pan and let melt over medium heat. Dip one roll at a time in the egg mixture and place in the saute pan. Allow roll ups to saute for 1-2 minutes per side until golden brown and slightly crisp on the outside.
Remove to a work surface and sprinkle each roll up generously with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
This is a simple 10min recipe that can be be served also on a Sunday morning brunch at home

You know that we love a good brunch, so when we heard that @getfreshcy was launching its new brunch menu on Saturday we knew we had to be there!
We went with the Croque Madame which was light and delicious, made with sourdough bread (our favorite), and the Dippy Eggs (Shakshuka) with guacamole that gave it a fresh twist! 🥑
Anna of course couldn't leave without trying something sweet, so we ordered the American Pancakes with Berries and Coconut whipped cream that were absolutely delicious!
Brunch is served every weekend between 9-4 in their beautiful green store in the center of Nicosia, so definitely give it a try and tell us what you think!

🍸 Here's why we think you should try LPM's unique brunch concept!
First, a short introduction: The 'La vie en Rosé' brunch is available every weekend from 12:00-16:00. With a sharing philosophy and three different courses, you should spend around 3 hours for the entire meal, to enjoy the whole experience.
How the brunch works is that you select a drinks menu from which you can order an unlimited number of drinks during your meal, unlimited number of starters, one main dish and one dessert per person.

Now here's why we think this is worth a try: 'La Vie en Rosé' brunch is a very unique brunch experience that gives you the opportunity to try a selection of amazing dishes as well as some of the signatures of LPM like the Escargots De Bourgogne and the Prawns with Olive Oil. If you love food as much as we do then this is a good opportunity to try a lot of different things from the menu and we promise you'll have a very different brunch experience than anything else you've tried in the past!

Colors café doesn't need an introduction, but we were still impressed with the new menu additions that we tried over the weekend: the Asian Prawn Salad, the Crab and Prawn Sandwich & the Salmon Stuffed Croissant.
If you want to go for a more classic option the stuffed croissant is perfectly executed, but if you want to try some more unique flavor combinations then go for the Crab & Prawn Brioche and the Asian Prawn Salad - or just get everything like we did 🤭
There are more new additions on the menu which we're sure are equally delicious but they'll have to wait until next time!

🍳 Who doesn't like a good brunch at the village?
Located in Politiko village, at @filimon_gefseis you can try anything from traditional boukkoma to Cypriot "tacos", all made using homemade products.
We tried the Cypriot version of shakshuka (Πομιλοροτιάνιση) as well as an alternative French toast (Το Πόπαστον) made with anari cheese, cinnamon and honey that tasted exactly like pourekkia with anari!
We were impressed with both dishes and we can't wait to be back and try the eggs Benedict as they looked divine!

Right at the beginning of this super picturesque street behind Escadinhas de São Cristóvão in Lisbon we discovered O Ninho, a small neighbourhood restaurant with a very casual, relaxed atmosphere 🌞
