We tried the new restaurant in Nicosia everyone’s talking about! Sumosan Cyprus has officially opened its doors at The Landmark Nicosia Hotel, serving contemporary Japanese dishes and unique signature cocktails in a stylish space. We tried a selection of dishes from the menu, from sushi to some of their unique mains. The restaurant uses some of the finest ingredients, including high quality fish like bluefish tuna and premium wagyu meat. The rice they use for their nigiris is brought from Japan and served at room temperature to bring out its unique flavor - so you really shouldn’t dip your nigiri in soy sauce! We really loved the attention to detail, spot on flavors and beautiful atmosphere at Shibui, Limassol’s gourmet Asian spot! We tried the tempura broccoli, served with the best roasted sesame sauce, the salmon tataki and avocado handroll, the gyoza and two of their sushi rolls, the eel/spicy shrimp roll and the Philadelphia roll.
