I recently celebrated the joy of Christmas at TGI FRIDAYS™ with a selected group of foodie friends to sample the NEW GRILLED & SAUCY holiday menu. Our taste buds where jingled with an array of fire-grilled steaks, pork ribs, duck, and pork chops, all topped with their unique BOURBON CHERRY GLAZE. This festive sauce, blending Jack Daniel’s® Tennessee Honey, BBQ sauce, and cherries was a delightful surprise. The dishes came with delicious sides like the limited-time potatoes au Gratin and corn. To complement the meal, I sipped into the festive season with their NEW SEASON’S DRINKINGS. The MUDSLIDE cocktail was a velvety treat, combining Baileys, Vodka, Kahlúa coffee liqueur, and vanilla ice cream – truly indulgent! I also tried the HOLIDAY SANGRIA, a festive mix of rum and red wine that truly felt like Christmas in a glass. A well thought space with a large indoor seating are and a large outdoor bar and also siting area, it really gives me those secret London streetfood alley vibes. You already know @por_favor2021 & @kick_ass_burger but its a whole lot more. Combining menu from both places, Chef @theo_eleftheriou has also created some new unique dishes especially for @streetfood.yard So your guaranteed to find food for the whole gang here! Already a best seller, the Rack of Ribs has to be my must try item from the new additions. So you drooled all over your phone after seeing my stories at Reef American bar & grill at @sunrisehotelsprotaras and after seeing the post from @cyprus_foodies about this place, now here’s my post & review! U just got to try the burgers! I had the Brie burger, the beef cooked perfectly, I ordered it medium / rare and as you saw the burger had no red parts and retained all its juices while being super flavourful. The brioche buns are some of the finest I’ve had on the island. Was totally impressed! Also tried my friends cowboy burger, and even though they got it medium, it was still #juicyaf , I even did the squeeze test… sooo satisfying! Ribs, the meat pulled of the bone just by separating the bones. The bbq sauce had the perfect kick of tangy smokeyness bbq flavour. We got a Chicken fagitas to share, again cooked perfectly, chicken with crusty sides for some crunch but mouth-watering juicy chicken brest perfectly seasoned. Now value for money!! This is in protaras, were you'll expect those tourist prices... Well I'm glad to say the prices are perfectly balanced even cheaper than most places in Nicosia. Portions are big and this is great for families also because you can easily share most plates like garlic bread, wings, salads and a whole lot more while getting some mains that can easily be shared also (but you won't want to share the ribs 🤭) The restaurant is modern and clean which is always a plus when visiting tourist locations. I want to know what cleaning products and aromatic sprays they use for their WC's ☺️ This is my second restaurant I've visited from the sunrise hotels group, first Kyklos Greek restaurant and now this. Even though totally different concepts, the consistency in quality shows. From food to service. Juicy meat grilled to perfection, super soft brioche bun, THAT CHEESE 🧀, extra crispy bacon 🥓 if you want, a slice of tomato and abit of lettuce. Comes in 3 sizes, 100gr, 160gr and 180gr.
